Hi folks, another month down and a month closer to release! I hope the new year has started well for everyone.

I am excited to bring you a few updates. Bug fixes have been going well over the last couple of months which have brought Stellar Navigator to a higher level of stability and polish. These fixes have fallen under the category of removal of blockers and quality of life improvements, all providing a better experience for everyone out of the gate. Additionally, I am pleased to announce that along with the context help that is built into Stellar Navigator, there will be a standalone manual that will ship with the initial release which will be a guide to using Stellar Navigator.

Folks keeping up with the Q&A section of our Discord may have seen the latest update on a release timeframe, which is targeting a Q1 2025 release! Stay tuned for more pre-release updates in the coming weeks.

For this month’s sneak peek, let’s look at a couple of new star types. While those of you who have been keeping up with the Stellar Navigator YouTube channel may have already seen and heard the pulsar, expect to also see a protostar for use in your solar systems. In addition, there will be a notepad feature in Stellar Navigator that is specific to each solar system, allowing for capturing notes, adding narrative, captain’s logs, or interesting facts about each solar system!

That is all for this month. Have a wonderful February, and keep looking to the stars!
